Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to open the public library building situated at No.14, Murugan Nagar, Malumachampatti Village at Coimbatore-641 050 for the benefit to the public by considering petitioner's representation dated 02.04.2019. On earlier occasion, viz., 03.06.2019, Mr.J.Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader took notice and sought time to inform about the opening of the library building and to file a report before this Court.

2. Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleaders appearing on behalf of the respective respondents submitted that as per direction of this Court on 03.06.2019, Library was opened today, viz., 07.06.2019, morning at 7 a.m., and the learned counsel for the petitioner also confirms the same. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication.

3.Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
