Prayer :- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the body of the petitioner's daughter A.Farziabegum, aged about 16 years, before this Court and hand over her custody to the petitioner.

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to produce the petitioner's daughter viz. A.Farziabegum, before this Court and hand over her custody to him.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter viz. A.Farziabegum, aged about 16 years went missing since 21.05.2021 and that, the Police are not taking effective steps to secure her.

On instructions, Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that, on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Natrampalli Police Station Crime No.185 of 2021 was registered on 21.05.2021 for the offence under Section 366(A) IPC against the third respondent.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.Panaliselvam, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vaniyambadi, Natrampalli Sub Division, produced the detenue A.Farziabegum from Natrampalli Police Station in Video Conferencing. The petitioner is also present. When enquired by us, the detenue A.Farziabegum stated that she is willing to go with her father (petitioner).

Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed, with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vaniyambadi, Natrampalli Sub Division, to hand over the custody of the detenue A.Farziabegum to the petitioner.
