Respondent Criminal Revision filed under sections 397 and 401 of Criminal Procedure Code against the judgment of learned Principal Sessions Judge, Dharmapuri , passed in C.A.No.1 of 2013 dated 28.09.2016 confirming the judgment of learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court at Dharmapuri, passed in S.T.C.No.21 of 2011 dated 17.12.2012.

O R D E R
This revision is preferred against two concurrent judgments of Courts below convicting the petitioner for offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and sentencing him to undergo 1 year S.I. and to pay compensation of Rs.70,000/- to the complainant within two months i/d 3 months S.I.
2. Learned counsel for petitioner submitted that the matter stands compromised upon receipt of the amount by respondent/complainant.
3. Learned counsel for respondent affirms the submissions of learned counsel for petitioner viz., that the dispute stands settled between defacto complainant and petitioner.
4. In view of the Memo of Compromise filed to compound the offence signed by the parties as also the respective counsel, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
this Court is inclined to allow this revision. Accordingly, the offence under section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act tried in S.T.C.No.21 of 2011 on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court at Dharmapuri shall stand compounded. Petitioner shall stand acquitted from all charges in the case. Fine amount, if any, paid by the petitioner shall be refunded to him. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
