O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 04.09.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that, one Ravichandran has received Rs.1,50,000/- promising to get a job in the Government and thereafter, he neither get the job nor returned the money. In connection with this allegation, the petitioner earlier lodged a complaint, in which, petition enquiry was conducted in CSR.No.20 of 2014. The said Ravichandran appeared before the respondent police and undertook to settle the amount in three instalments, in spite of which, he has not settled till date. Thereafter, the petitioner has lodged a fresh complaint dated 04.09.2015 to the respondent police.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that, the police have not received the complaint dated 04.09.2015.

5. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to go in person and lodge a fresh complaint to the respondent police and on such complaint being given, the respondent police is directed to enquire into the complaint and take action against the said Ravichandran, in accordance with law, as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.
