ORDER

The petitioner is imposed with a punishment of stoppage of increment for a period of one year without cumulative effect by an order dated 22.11.2023.

2. As against the same, the petitioner has filed an appeal dated 22.12.2023 to the first respondent. It can be seen that the appeal is still pending and no orders have been passed till date.

3. In view thereof, the first respondent is directed to consider the appeal on merits and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
