ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order of the 5 th respondent dated 07.12.2022 and for a consequential direction to the respondents to make necessary correction in the death certificate issued to the petitioner's father by mentioning his name as A.Mohamed Ismail instead of A.Mohamed and also to mention the father's name as Allah Bakash instead of Ismail.

2. Heard Mr.K.Manikandan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.E.Sundaram, learned Government Advocate for the 1 st respondent and Ms.Vanitha Joice Rani, learned Standing Counsel for the 2 nd to 5tth respondents.

3. This Court had an advantage of going through the family card and pan card issued in the name of the petitioner's father and it is seen that the name of the petitioner's father is A.Mohamed Ismail and his father's name is Allah Bakash. The same was wrongly mentioned in the death certificate.

4. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the 5 th respondent to issue a fresh death certificate by mentioning the name of the petitioner's father as A.Mohamed Ismail and his father's name as Allah Bakash. This process shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
