C.M.A.SR.No.50077 of 2020 is filed under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, against the judgment and decree in M.C.O.P.No.1952 of 2017, dated 07.01.2020 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, IV-Judge, Small Causes Court, Chennai.

This petition is filed to exempt the Court fee of Rs.6,000/- in the http://www.judis.nic.in above appeal.

2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, during the course of argument, informed to this Court that the Court fee to be paid is a sum of Rs.6,171/-. This Court is of the opinion that the exemption cannot be granted as there is no sufficient cause set out in the affidavit filed in support of the miscellaneous petition. Thus, the learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to deposit the Court fee within a period of two (2) weeks from today.
