2. In view of the narrow prayer during the hearing of the writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 17.06.2015 and 29.06.2015, relating to preparation of panel for promotion to the post of Assistant Director of Tamil Development and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
