ORDER

This petition has been filed to set aside the fair and decreetal order dated 28.02.2025 in R.L.T.A.No.191 of 2024 on the file of Hon'ble XVI Additional City Page No:1/4

Civil Court, Chennai (Rent Tribunal) in so far as granting two months time to vacate the tenanted premises confirming the fair and decreetal order dated 02.07.2024 in R.L.T.O.P.No.132 of 2022 on the file of the Hon'ble XII Small Caues Court, Chennai.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the time period granted by the Rent Tribunal in RLTA.No.191 of 2024 dated 28.02.2025 has been expired on 29.04.2025. He further submitted that the present petition has been filed by the petitioner to challenge the said order for grant of extension of time to vacate the premises. Now, the time period granted by the learned XVI Additional District and Sessions Judge, is lapsed.

3. Considering the fact that time period granted by the Appellate Court has lapsed, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present Civil Revision Petition. Hence, the Civil Revision Petition is closed and the respondent/landlord is directed to proceed with the EP Court in the manner known to law. No costs.
