Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 19.03.2026 and consequentially ensure that the IPL matches are either held in Tamilnadu after the completion of General Elections or in the alternative strictly enforce the Model Conduct to direct the organisers

of the IPL Matches as well as the other Statutory Authorities to ensure that there is no public display of any Political Party's symbol, logo, flag posters or any other material which denote or indicate or refer to any political party or any candidate.
