By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner claims that her husband purchased a land, measuing an extent of 2523 sq.ft., in Plot No.71, Shri Srinivasa Nagar, No.42, Vellanur Village, Ambattur Taluk, Thiruvallur District, in Survey No.355/2B, vide a registered Sale Deed, dated 22.02.1984, and her husband has also obtained electricity service connection in No.054-010-247. The petitioner would further state that her husband submitted several representations to the respondent for issuance of patta and, in the interregnum, settled the property in her favour by way of a settlement deed in document No.5 of 2015, dated 02.01.2015, on the file of Sub-Registrar, Avadi, and, in this regard, the petitioner has also submitted a representation, dated 02.07.2015, to the respondent, and since she has not been favoured with any kind response, she has come forward to file this Writ Petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.V.Sathish, learned counsel for the petitioner; and Mr.RM.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 02.07.2015, in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned , if any, and pass orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned.
