Respondent Writ Petition has been filed, under Section 226 of Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to grant house site patta to the petitioner in respect of his house in Survey No.1/1, Ayyankutipalayam, Oulgaret Revenue Village, on the basis of the representations submitted by the petitioner's husband and take action in accordance with law. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that she is otherwise abled (physically challenged) and residing in Door No.573, New No.675, Vazhudavoor Road, Puducherry - 605 009, for more than forty years and her husband had already submitted several representations to the respondent for issuance of patta in respect of the land in Survey No.1/1, Ayyankutipalayam, Oulgaret Revenue Village, Puducherry, and after his demise, she also approached the respondent for issuance of patta for the said land and since she has not been favoured with any kind of response, she has come forward to file this Writ Petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Gnanasekar, learned counsel for the petitioner; and Mr.A.Tamilvannan, learned Government Advocate (Pondy), who accepted notice on behalf of the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. A perusal of the typed set of documents would disclose that the husband of the petitioner submitted representations to the respondent in the year 1997 and, thereafter, he did not send any reminders.

5. This Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and the respondent, on receipt of such representation, is directed to consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned, within a period of six weeks thereafter, and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned.
