PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondent to provide with police protection for surveying the subject land in Survey No.586/4 and fencing the same.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondent to provide police protection to survey the land and fence the petitioner's property comprised in S.F.No.586/4 situated at Thiruppur Division, Pollachi Sub-division, Pollachi Taluk, Jameen Puravipalayam Village, Coimbatore District.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

The petitioner owned property comprised in S.F.No.586/4 to an extent of 3 acres 91 cents situated at Thiruppur Division, Pollachi Subdivision, Pollachi Taluk, Jameen Puravipalayam Village, Coimbatore District. The petitioner decided to fence his property to fix a boundary, however a third party obstructed the survey of the petitioner's property. Therefore, the petitioner applied for a survey of his land before the Revenue Authorities on payment of requisite fees. While the surveyor / third respondent proceeded to survey the petitioner's land, the third party
obstructed the same.
4. In view of the above, if the surveyor finds any hindrance while surveying the petitioner's property, the surveyor can very well seek police protection from the second respondent. On such request, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and pass orders to provide police protection to the third respondent to survey the petitioner's property, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
