PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents herein to consider the representation dated 26.08.2016 directing the second respondent to frame a procedure and fix a criteria in such a manner by considering only the Special Education Category in B.Ed., for recruiting Special Teachers and enable the petitioner herein to participate in the selection process of Special Teachers as announced in the Government Notification G.O.Ms.No.28 dated 30.01.2015.

This writ petition is filed seeking for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2016 and to frame a procedure for the post of Special Teachers as announced in the Government Notification G.O.Ms.No.28 dated 30.01.2015, enabling him to participate in the selection process.

third respondents is present, learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent is present and also the learned counsel representing the fourth respondent is present.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Today, this matter is listed under the caption "for orders", even then the petitioner is not being represented. Even on an earlier occasion there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting this case and hence, this writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. Costs made easy.
