ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police or their subordinates not to harass the petitioner in any manner pursuant to the complaint of Manoj Kumar Kuttuboina, if any, on the file of 2nd respondent police in connection with the alleged investigation.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. It is seen that this petitioner was married to one Manoj Kumar and they are estranged. Manoj Kumar filed HCP No.2025 of 2015 for a direction to produce this petitioner on the ground that, she is kept under illegal detention. A Division Bench of this Court has dismissed HCP No.2025 of 2015 on 18.09.2015 holding that this petitioner is not kept in illegal detention by her parents and that she is living with them on her volition.

4. It is seen that the husband of this petitioner has lodged a complaint, based on which a case in Aruvankadu Police Station Cr.No.81 of 2015 for "woman missing" has been registered on 05.06.2015. The police are investigating the case in Cr.No.81 of 2015 and that is why they had called the petitioner for enquiry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. On the petitioner appearing before the Inspector of Police, Aruvankadu Police Station with her counsel, the Aruvankadu police is directed to conduct enquiry about her identity and if it is found that Cr.No.81 of 2015 relates to the petitioner, the same may be closed.
