Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus (a) directing respondent no.1, respondent no.2 and respondent no.3 to take immediate action to stop the illegal mining of soils at Thirupeyar Village's Periya Eri (Survey No.301) located near Survey No.369; (b) direct the respondent no.1, respondent no.2 and respondent no.3 to take action against the person who is indulged in construction of Rock Crusher ramp, which is located to the - north of : Thiruppeyar Village's Survey Number 288's Odai Poramboke; South of : Survey Numbers 368, 375 Odai/Stream; East of : Survey Number 288, 370 Odai, through which water flows to Periya Eri; West of : Survey Number 301 Thiruppeyar Village Periya Eri; (c) direct the respondent no.1, respondent no.2 and respondent no.
3 to conduct enquiry as to whoever have indulged in the illegal rock mining/quarrying at the Hillocks situated at Survey No.369 near Thiruppeyar Village Periya Eri (Survey No.1) which resulted in the formation of about 100 feet well at the place to the extent of around 2 acres and take action to recover the revenue loss occurred to the Thiruppeyar Village Panchayat due to illegal quarrying.

ORDER
(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Herad Mr.C.Prabhu, petitioner appearing in person and Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 3.
2. The petitioner, appearing in person, submits that, in view of the order passed in W.P.No.16965 of 2020, action has been taken by the authorities and the purpose of the present writ petition does not survive.
3. In the light of the said submission made by the petitioner appearing in person, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
