ORDER

The matter is placed before this court on the letter received from the court below, seeking extension of time to complete the proceedings in S.C.No.28 of 2008 on the file of the District and Sessions Judge, Tirupattur.

2. The District and Sessions Judge, Tirupattur, had already sought for extension of time through letter in D.No.3562/2024 dated 06.12.2024 . This court on 08.01.2025 had granted three months time to complete the trial in the said case. Now again the trial court has sent communication dated 09.04.2025 in D.No.1975/2025, narrating that the SC.No.28/2008 has been G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN.,J https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

gv transferred from the Mahila Court, Vellore to the said lower court and it has assigned the new number as SC.No.108/2024 and taken on file on 08.08.2024. It is further narrated that since the crime involved is of the year 1997, the prosecution had to trace the witness and taken time to produce them. So far PW1 to PW7 were examined. Hence he was unable to complete the proceedings and he seeks further three months time to comply the direction.

3. In view of the above, time to comply with the condition, is extended by three months from today, as requested by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Tirupattur.
