This petition is filed to grant leave to the appellant's eldest son viz., the petitioner herein, to continue the appeal in Crl.A.No.283 of 2017, in the place of the appellant.

2.Counter filed by the respondent police, wherein they raised objection and prayed to dismiss this petition. 3.Being satisfied with the reason stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this Court granted leave to the appellant's eldest son viz., the petitioner herein to continue the appeal in Crl.A.No.283 of 2017, in the place of the appellant and the CMP is ordered. 4.Registry is directed to substitute the petitioner herein in the place of the appellant in Crl.A.No.283 of 2017.
