ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the third respondent to effect the electricity service connection bearing No.522-014-528 in Survey No.332/2A2 situated in Pasar Village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Kallakuruchi District.
2. Mr.G.Ranganathan, appears on behalf of learned counsel for the petitioner, Mrs. Daniel Mary, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the TANGEDCO. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner has put up a house situated in the above said survey number for the residential purpose. Seeking to effect electricity service connection to the above said survey number, the petitioner has made a representation dated 07.01.2023 before
the respondents. However, the same was not considered. Hence the present writ petition.
4. Though very many grounds have been raised in the present writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the third respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.01.2023 and pass appropriate orders, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
5. On the above contentions heard learned standing counsel appearing for official respondents and perused the materials placed before this Court.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.01.2023 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, upon satisfaction
of the title owned by the petitioner within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
