O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to issue Patta for the Petitioner's land situated in Plot No.18, in Survey No.993/3, 993/E measuring one ground and 1570 Sq.ft total measuring of 3970 Sq.ft at Madhavaram village, Annai Velankanni

Nagar, MMC Road, Madhavaram, Thiruvalluvar Revenue District based on the petitioner's representation dated 05.06.2013 & 01.02.2017.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given representations dated 05.06.2013 and 01.02.2017. However, the first respondent has not passed any order so far.

3.It is also brought to the notice of this Court that this Court earlier directed the first respondent to pass appropriate orders with regard to issuance of the patta in W.P.No.36734 of 2015 dated 28.01.2016.

However, the first respondent has not issued patta yet.

4.Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to pass orders in accordance with law. 5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 05.06.2013 and 01.02.2017 and also the order passed by this court in W.P.No.36734 of 2015 dated 28.01.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
