PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records relating to the petitioner's husband detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order, dated 15.03.2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein made in proceedings C.No.30/G//IS/2025, quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's husband K. Zaheer Hussain, S/o. Kaja Hussain, aged 35 years before this Court and set the petitioner's husband at liberty from detention, now the petitioner's husband detained at Central Prison, Coimbatore. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S. RAMESH, J.) When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.1626, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XII) Department, dated 26.03.2025, submitted that the detention order has not

been approved by the Government.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
