O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to instruct the third respondent to issue necessary appointment orders to the petitioner for the post of Multipurpose Hospital worker in any one of the Hospitals under his control.

2. The petitioner on the basis of the advertisement given in Na.Ka.No7511/A7/2014, on 27.05.2015, made an application for the post of Multipurpose Hospital worker in any one of the Government Primary Health Centers and had also attended the interview conducted on 26.11.2015. According to the petitioner, he performed well in the interview but was not given appointment. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The petitioner belongs to Schedule Caste. Since the petitioner was not issued with the appointment order nearly after six months from the date of interview and his juniors got appointed to the same post, he made an application under the RTI Act. It was averred that there exists 22 vacancies for the said post as on 12.04.2016.

In view of the above factual position, the petitioner also made a representation on 03.05.2016 to consider his case since the petitioner is aged 35 years as on today.

3. Heard Mr.V.Bhiman, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion about the merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.05.2016 and to pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions is closed.
