O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents, particularly, the second respondent to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner on 08.02.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.

2. Heard Mr.A.Arun Kumar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4.

3. The petitioner is placing reliance upon the sale deed dated 20.12.2024 registered as Document No.8589 of 2024. The petitioner is also placing reliance upon patta No.60 issued in favour of the petitioner's vendor's father with respect to the subject property. The online application submitted by the petitioner dated 08.02.2025 did not evoke any response and hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner on 08.02.2025 and conduct survey in the subject property within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order based on the title document and the patta that stands in the name of the petitioner's vendor's father. If there are any rival claims, such survey shall be conducted in their presence. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
