This application has been filed to extend the time for executing the bond in O.P.No.649 of 2021.

2. By an order dated 21.07.2022, while allowing O.P., the applicants/petitioners were directed to execute a security bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) in favour of the Assistant Registrar (O.S.III), High Court, Madras, within a period of three months from the date of the said order.

3. Since the time has lapsed, the applicants/petitioners have filed A.No.5662 of 2022 for extension of time to execute the security bond in O.P. This Court, by an order dated 09.12.2022 in A.No.5662 of 2022, has extended the time for a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

4. Now, the applicants/petitioners filed this application for further extension of time to execute the security bond in O.P. stating that the first applicant/first petitioner was not able to come and execute the security bond within the time prescribed by this Court as she was laid down with viral fever and her sugar level increased. The learned counsel for the applicants/petitioners would submit that the applicants/petitioners are willing to execute the security as directed by this Court in the earlier orders, within a period of two days from today.

5. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the applicants/petitioners and considering the reasons for the delay stated in the affidavit filed in support of this application, the time for executing the security bond in O.P. is extended till 28.04.2023.

6. Accordingly, this Application is ordered.
