Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents particularly the District Collector, Kancheepuram, Revenue Divisional Officer, Madhuranthagam and the Tahsildar, Cheyyur and the Panchayat President Vanniyanallur, Kancheepuram District to remove the illegal and unauthorised construction being put up by the 6th respondent in Survey No.19, on the Govenrment Poramboke Tank land at Andarkuppam village, Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and further direct the 6th respondent not to obstruct the pathway leading to the public Tank and the Vinayagar Temple situated in Survey No.19, Andarkuppam Village on the Tank and the daily worship by the villagers in the Vinayagar Temple.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by T.S.Sivagnanam, J.) The Government has issued an order in G.O. (Ms.) No.540, Revenue (LD6(2)) Department, dated 04.12.2014, for constitution of Redressal Committees to dispose of grievances relating to eviction of encroachments. It appears, the petitioner has made representation on 30.06.2015, to the second respondent / District Collector, Kancheepuram, qua the same.

2. We, thus, dispose of the writ petition by directing the second respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 30.06.2015 in terms of the aforesaid G.O. No costs. Consequently, M.P.No.1 of 2015 is closed.
