ORDER

The petitioner claims that he is the owner of the property bearing vacant Plot in Survey No.101A/125, T.S.No.114, Block No.22, an total extent of 1080 sq.ft in D.No.5A, Old No.15, Kannadasan Street, (Old Name Peerjath Pura Street), Arcot Town, Walajabad Taluk, Vellore District. The petitioner has inherited the said property, by virtue of settlement deed dated 06.03.2014. After execution of settlement deed, the petitioner sought for change of property tax in his name to enable him to pay property tax to the aforesaid property. In this regard, he has given a representation on 06.04.2015 to the respondent. Till date, it has not been considered by the respondent. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. 3.It is evident that the petitioner has given a representation dated 06.04.2015 to the respondent and so far, no action has been taken on the same by the respondent. Therefore, this Court without expressing any opinion regarding the merits of the matter, directs https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 06.04.2015, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
