By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The prayer in the writ petition is to issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 16.02.2015, 04.01.2016 and 15.04.2016 and thereby direct the second respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service from 10.10.2014 with all consequential monetary and other service benefits.
3. The petitioner would state that he is working as Village Administration Officer at Mathandakuppam (Group) Village, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District. Since he was made as an accused in Crime No.6 of 2014 for the alleged offence under https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Section 7 of the Prevention of the Corruption Act, 1988, he was arrested and remanded to judicial custody. Thereafter, he was placed under suspension by the second respondent by an order dated 10.10.2014. The petitioner would further state that in this regard, he made a representations to the respondents 1 and 2 dated 16.02.2015, 04.01.2016 and 15.04.2016 seeking revocation of suspension and reinstatement into service. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Heard the submissions of Mr.G.Selvam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
5. This Court, considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.04.2016 followed by the representations dated 16.02.2015 and 04.01.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
