Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.04.2018 and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to give electricity connection to the common well present in Survey No.273/4.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner and the third respondent's father herein jointly owned agricultural land as joint pattadhars of property in S.No.273/4 situated at Agaram Revenue Village, Krishnagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District. In 1987, a common electricity connection was supplied for the said property and connection was given in the name of the third respondent's father. Now, the third respondent is attempting to extend the said electricity connection of other properties, which according to him is not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

covered by the terms of connection granted by the respondents 1 and 2.

2. Heard, Mr.J.Prakasam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Varunkumar, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. The counsel for the petitioner repeated the facts stated above and added that the petitioner has given a representation dated 05.04.2018 to the second respondent herein in this regard and no decision to the knowledge of the petitioner has been taken on it.

This Court hereby directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.04.2018 after putting the third respondent on notice and pass such orders consistent with law and the Rules governing it. Till such time, the representation stated above is disposed of, present status quo as on today directed to be maintained.

5. With the above direction the writ petition stands allowed. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
