ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 2 nd respondent to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner on 24.02.2025, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.
2.Heard Mr.A.Ilayaperumal, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 3.
3/6 3.The petitioner is placing reliance upon the Settlement Deed dated 07.11.2024 registered as Document No.5260 of 2024. The petitioner is also placing reliance upon the Patta that has been issued in the name of the petitioner in Patta No.2799. The petitioner submitted an online application seeking for survey and since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd respondent to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner on 24.02.2025 and conduct the survey in the subject property based on the title documents and the patta that already stands in the name of the petitioner. This process shall be completed, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If there are any other rival parties, such survey shall be conducted in their presence. If there is any requirement for police protection, on the request made by the 2 nd respondent, the 4 th respondent can provide police protection.
