Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the relief of issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.11.2011 and offer the post of petitioner's deceased husband Pasupathi to her on compassionate ground.

ORDER
The husband of the petitioner was employed as Noon Meal Organizer at Kozhukattaikudi Panchayat Board Elementary School in Trichirapalli District. He died on 17.07.2011 while he was in service leaving behind him, the petitioner (wife) and two daughters as legal heirs.

According to the petitioner, she has passed +2 and Lower Grade in Typewriting and she made an application on 21.11.2011 to the 3rd respondent seeking compassionate appointment and the 3rd respondent, in turn, on 25.11.2011, forwarded the same to the 2nd respondent thereby recommending compassionate appointment https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
to the petitioner. The grievance of the petitioner is that so far no order has been passed on the same by the 2nd respondent. Hence, she has come forward with this writ petition.
3. Heard both sides and also perused the records carefully.
4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition and also the fact that the petitioner's application for compassionate appointment is now pending with the 2nd respondent , this court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 21.11.2011 for employment assistance on compassionate ground on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders on the same within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. No costs.
