Respondents Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to effect service connection for the petitioner's well in S.No.95/4 of Kondampatti Village, Karadipatti Post, Namakkal District, without insisting upon production of report of the 3rd respondent confirming the existence of the bore well.

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to effect service connection for the petitioner's well in S.No.95/4 of Kondampatti Village, Karadipatti Post, Namakkal District, without insisting upon the production of the report from the 3rd respondent confirming the existence of the bore well. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. After filing the writ petition and ordering notice to the respondents, it is seen from the counter affidavit filed by the 3rd respondent that an inspection has been conducted at the premises of the petitioner and the existence of a bore well in S.No.95/4 was marked and consequently, a report was also filed on 14.07.2017. Therefore, it is for the 2nd respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner based on the report already filed by the Revenue official.

3. Learned counsel for the 2nd respondent submitted that the petitioner's claim will be considered based on the report filed by the Revenue Official.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's claim seeking for electricity connection within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
