Complaint of fraud initiated by the petitioner bank in the year 2019 had not reached the stage of investigation, alleging that the Investigating Officer /3rd respondent police is not competent to investigate the case and that is the reason for inordinate delay in completing the investigation. The present petition is to transfer the investigation to CCB (Anti-Bank Fraud Wing) which is investigating similar MOP by the same accused. 2.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) fairly concedes that there is no notable progress in the investigation for the past 4 years. 3.

In the light of the above submissions, petition to transfer is 2/4

allowed. The Commissioner of police/ 1st respondent is directed to transfer the case to the 2nd respondent CCB, Chennai and appoint proper Investigating Officer to investigate the case and complete the investigation within a reasonable time.

With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
