Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for records to refusal slip No.RFL/Tiruporur/25 of 2025 dated 20/03/2025 issued by the 2nd respondent and quash the same, consequently direct the 2nd respondent to receive and register the settlement deed dated 14/03/2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent within time frame fixed by this Court.

This writ petition has been filed challenging the refusal check slip dated 20.03.2025 issued by the second respondent and for a consequential direction to the second respondent to register the settlement deed dated 14.03.2025 executed by the petitioner in favour of her husband.
2. Heard Mr.V.Sunderraman, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.R.Sasikumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.
3. The refusal check slip has been issued on the ground that the original title document has not been produced at the time of registration. The petitioner has stated in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition that the original title document has been lost and it is not traceable. In view of the same, necessary recital shall be added in the sale deed and thereafter, it shall be presented for registration before the respondent. The respondent, on receipt of the document, shall register the 2/4
same, if it is otherwise in order.
