ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.07.2020 for the offences punishable under Section 302 IPC @ Section 147, 148, 302, 324 and 506(ii) IPC, in Crime No.356 of 2020, seeks bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that it is a case of retaliation. Due to previous enmity between the friend of the deceased and the petitioner, the petitioner had waylaid the deceased and assaulted him with knife, resulting in his death. He would further submit that the petitioner was arrested only on 13.07.2020 and the investigation is pending. 3.Taking into consideration of the submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) and also considering the fact that the arrest of the petitioner was very recent, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
