Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation/appeal dated 30.05.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law regarding appointment of petitioner as Nutritious Meal Organizer at Soorakadu Panchayat Union Elementary School, Sirkazhi Panchayat Union, Nagapattinam District by cancelling the irregular appointment made to the fourth respondent herein by the second respondent. 2. Heard Mr.K.Govindaraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Dhanajeyan, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The restricted prayer sought for in this writ petition is to consider the appeal/representation submitted by the writ petitioner before the first respondent on 30.05.2017 with regard to the recruitment to the post of Noon-Meal Organizer.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the writ petitioner is fully qualified for appointment and got selected. Further the writ petitioner is a widow and residing within 3km radius from the Centre for which recruitment process has undertaken.

5. Such view of the matter, this court is inclined to direct the first respondent to consider the representation / appeal submitted by the petitioner on 30.05.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
