This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 16.07.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the respondent Police have not received the complaint dated 16.07.2016, that is said to have been sent by the petitioner. However, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint dated 25.07.2016 to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, T.Nagar and that has been forwarded to the Inspector of Police [Crime], R-1, Mambalam Police Station, T.Nagar, Chennai and enquiry is pending.

4. Recording the same, this petitioner is directed to appear before the Inspector of Police [Crime], R-1, Mambalam Police Station, T.Nagar, Chennai and co-operate with the enquiry and the Inspector of Police, R-1 Mambalam Police https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Station is directed to expeditiously conduct the investigation and take action in accordance with law.
