Respondents PRAYER: This Writ petition came to be numbered under Article 226 of the Constitution of India by way of transfer of O.A.No.5763 of 2002 from the file of the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to regularise the applicant's service from the date of initial appointments with consequential benefits and thus render justice.

The petitioners filed O.A. No.5763/2002 before the Tamilnadu Administrative Tribunal seeking to direct the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondents to regularise the applicants' service from the date of initial appointments with consequential benefits The Original Application came on transfer as W.P. No. 7648 of 2007 before this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, Mr. R. Govindasamy, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, placing on record G.O. Ms. NO.58 Labour and Employment (E-2) Department dated 21.05.2008 and the proceedings No.G2/4434/09 dated 16.09.2009, submitted that all the petitioners have been given the benefit of regularisation. In view of that, nothings survives in the writ petition.

3. Recording the submission of learned counsel appearing for the respondents and based on the proceedings that are placed on records, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
