This writ petition has been filed by M/s Ashritha Earth Movers https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

seeking a writ of mandamus to forbear the respondents and their subordinates from demanding or collecting entry tax on the petitioner's one unit used Komatsu Motor Grader Model 1995 vehicle bearing Chassis (Serial No.) No.GD31-11231 to be registered and assigned new registration mark.

2. When the matter was taken up on 7.1.2015, there was no representation for the petitioner. So, it was directed to be listed today. Even today, when the matter was called, no one appeared for the petitioner. The records also show that the miscellaneous petitions were dismissed for non prosecution for non-compliance of defects, by order dated 22.4.2008. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution.
