This application has been filed to condone the delay of 16 days in filing the affidavit of compliance along with proof of reinvestment.
2. Learned counsel for the first applicant has submitted that he was hospitalized during the month of March 2020, due to the spread of Covid 19 pandemic and hence he was not able to meet his Advocate to file his affidavit with proof of investment within the stipulated time and therefore there was a delay of 16 days in filing the affidavit of compliance and he seeks to allow this application.
3. Learned counsel for the second applicant has submitted that with regard to the property, they have entered into sale agreement with somebody else and he vehemently opposed to allow this application.
4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant and the second applicant has not made any valid reason to reject this application, this Court is inclined to allow this application. Accordingly, this application is allowed.
