: Respondent Original Petition praying that this Hon'ble Court be pleased a) to appoint the petitioner as guardian of the person and property of the minor Mr.V.R.Ravi Varma. b) To permit the petitioner to sell the petition mentioned property to B.Manikandan, son of Balaraman, residing at No.45/19, Aari Muthu Maistry Street, Choolai, Chennai 600 112 for valid sale consideration of Rs.60,00,000/-.
c) to permit the petitioner to deposit 1/3 percent of 1/3 of the total sale proceeds (i.e.) Rs.6,66,666/- in anyone of the Nationalized Bank in the name of the minor V.K.Ravi Varma.
This Original Petition coming on this day before this court for hearing in the presence of Mr.R.Nagarajan,
Advocate for the petitioner herein and Mr.L.Christopher, Advocate for the respondent herein and upon reading the petition together with the declaration of willingness of K.Vedavalli, the petitioner herein accepting the office of guardianship of the person and property of the minor abovenamed, and the other exhibits therein referred to and upon perusing the evidence adduced therein, It is ordered as follows:- That K.Vedavalli, the petitioner herein be and is hereby appointed as guardian of the Minor Child Selvan V.K.Ravi Varma, and his property morefully set out in the schedule hereunder during his minority or until further orders of the court.
2. That the share of the minor child V.K.Ravi Varma, shall be deposited in the Indian Bank, High Court Buildings, Chennai till he attains majority.
3. That the petitioner herein, shall execute a guardian bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) in favour of Assistant Registrar (O.S.II), High Court, Madras.
Schedule of Property All that piece and parcel of land and building bearing Door No.5, New No.13, Sachithanandam Street, Pattalam, Chennai 600 012, situated in Purasawalkam Village, Perambur-Purasawalkam Taluk, Chennai District comprised in O.S.No.2651, R.S.No.2355/81, C.C.No.437/4142, measuring to an extend of 1771 sq.ft and land with buildings.
