Prayer: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to grant Aiyan Patta in favour of the petitioners with respect to the land measuring to an extent of 50, 92 and 77 cents comprised in Survey Nos.321/5, 321/6 and 321/4 respectively in Ingur village, Perundhurai Taluk, Erode District pursuant 1/5

to the recommendation of the fourth respondent dated 05.06.2020 in N.KA.4029/2019/A5.

For Petitioner : Mr.A.Murali - in all WPs For Respondents : Mr.S.Arumugham Government Advocate - in all WPs COMMON ORDER With the consent of both sides, these Writ Petitions are taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Since the issue involved in all these Writ Petitions are one and the same, these Writ Petitions are disposed of by way of a common order.

3. These writ petitions are filed to direct the third respondent to grant Aiyan Patta in favour of the petitioners with respect to the land measuring to an extent of 50, 92 and 77 cents comprised in Survey Nos.321/5, 321/6 and 321/4 respectively in Ingur village, Perundhurai Taluk, Erode District pursuant to the recommendation of the fourth respondent dated 05.06.2020 in N.KA.4029/2019/A5.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

The case of the petitioners is that they are doing agriculture in their lands and when the petitioners applied for Aiyan pattan, the same was processed by the fourth respondent by surveying their land. The grievance of the petitioners is that though the fourth respondent had sent a communication dated 05.06.2020 to the third respondent for granting Ayyan patta in favour of the petitioners, the same has not been considered. In this regard, the petitioners have also been sent a representation to the third respondent for granting Aiyan Patta for their land. However, the same has not been considered by the third respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, without going to the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 10.08.2023 and pass Orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law in the light of the recommendation of the fourth respondent dated 05.06.2020 in 3/5

Na.Ka.4029.2019.A5 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
