Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent to consider the claim of the Petitioner and pass orders within a time frame regarding his employment on compassionate grounds in the Respondent organisation in a suitable post commensurate with his educational qualification, consequent on the death of his father, Thiru V.Manoharan, on 20.01.2013 while working (ADSR No.427292) in the Respondent organisation For Petitioner :

ORDER

The father of the petitioner was employed in the respondent Insurance Company in its Regional office at No.4, Esplanade, Chennai and his employment number is ADSR 427292 and he died on 20.01.2013 due to cancer. Even before his death, the mother of the petitioner expired when the petitioner was aged seven years. In these circumstances, the petitioner requested for appointment on compassionate grounds and he has also sent a representation dated 23.02.2015 to the respondent which is enclosed at the typed set of papers. However, there is no acknowledgment.

2. In these circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of, permitting the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the respondent seeking for an appointment on compassionate grounds and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
