ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 02.04.2018 and consequently, direct the 1st respondent to give protection to live in the petitioner's house bearing Door No.253, MGR Nagar, Kasimedu, Chennai 13.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he got married to one Kavitha in the year 2008 and got separated from her in the year 2012 and that she is living in a house provided by him. Whil so, it is alleged by the petitioner that one Moni, living nearby his residence, forced him to marry her, which was not to his liking and hence, Moni's parents and other relatives ransacked the petitioner's house and caused extensive damage to his properties.

3. In such view of the matter, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the second respondent in person and lodge a complaint and on such complaint being made, the same shall be enquired into and the police shall ensure that no harm befalls the petitioner.

Accordingly, this petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
