The petitioner is a widow of Thiru. Arumugham, who was an employee of Nellikuppam Municipality in the district of Cuddalore. He worked as Sanitary Worker and died on 04.3.1978. The petitioner submitted an application for Compassionate Appointment as well as for payment of pension. The application was submitted in the year 2002 followed by a representation dated 08.12.2011. However, there was no follow up action taken by the respondents. The petitioner again submitted a representation on 30.5.2012. The present request is to direct the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation.

2. The 2nd respondent is directed consider and dispose of the representation dated 30.5.2012 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation dated 30.5.2012 along with the copy of this order so as to enable the second respondent to consider the same as expeditiously as possible.

4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observation. No costs.
