Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 and 4 to grant incentive payments to the petitioners for their B.Ed., Degree including arrears as per Government Orders in G.O.Ms.No.42, dated 10.01.1969 and orders of this Court reported in 2008-3-LW-383 and W.P. (MD) No.11337 of 2008, dated 30.06.2011 within a stipulated time.

Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

2. In view of the narrow prayer made during the hearing of the writ petition for disposal of the representation of the petitioners dated 28.02.2015 for incentive increment for acquiring higher qualification, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. In these circumstances, the second respondent is directed to pass orders on the representation of the petitioners dated 28.02.2015 relating to the grant of incentive increment, on merits and in accordance with law, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.42, Education Department, dated 10.01.1969 and in the light of Division Bench Judgment of this Court reported in 2008(3) LW 383 and the order of this Court dated 30.06.2011 passed in W.P.(MD)No.11337 of 2008, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
