By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner alleging irregularities and misdeeds on the part of one Mr.N.M.Palanimuthu, as Dharmakartha of Arulmigu Mariamman Temple, Selliamman Temple, Pidariamman Temple, Throupathiamman Temple, Pillayar Temple, Angala Amman & Varadharaja Perumal Temple, situated at Narasingapuram Post and Attur Taluk, Salem District, submitted a representation to the third respondent, who, vide proceedings dated 25.5.2015, has directed the fifth respondent to assume charge and inform the action taken, to him. The petitioner would state that he, aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the fifth respondent to comply with the above said order/proceedings of the third respondent, has submitted a representation dated 8.7.

2015, to the fifth respondent to act accordingly and since he has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents 1, 4 and 6, and Mr.M.L.Mahendran, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents 2, 3 and 5. 4.This Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the fifth respondent to act on the representation dated 8.7.

2015, submitted by the petitioner, and if necessary, can invoke Section 101 of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the seventh respondent, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the seventh respondent. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
