The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.03.2024 by the respondent police for the offences under Sections 306 of I.P.C in Crime No.247 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail. .

2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant is the mother of the victim girl. The petitioner had promised the victim girl that she will marry her and had physical relationship with her. Due to which the victim girl became pregnant and foetus was aborted and thereafter cheated her. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he pays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that investigation is in preliminary stage and RDO report has not yet been received. Hence, he prays to dismiss this petition.
