Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent dated 27.04.2022 in D.O.No.50/2022-C2 against the petitioner's mother-in-law Shama, female, aged 45 years, W/o.Ramjani, who is confined in the Special Prison for Women, Vellore and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenue before this Court and set her at liberty. [Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in D.O.No.50/2022-C2 dated 27.04.2022, detaining her mother-in-law as "GOONDA" under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. 2/4

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the order of detention passed against the detenue has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.3421, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 06.06.2022 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order.
