This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to register the complaint dated 02.01.2015, investigate and file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint dated 02.01.2015 to the 1st respondent and petition enquiry was conducted in CSR.No.1 of 2015. For want of jurisdiction, the complaint has been transferred by the 1st respondent to the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Arakkonam on 06.01.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Under such circumstances, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Arakkonam to pursue the complaint that has been transferred by the 1st respondent. Liberty is also given to the petitioner to give a fresh complaint before the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Arakkonam and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into and action be taken in accordance with law.
