ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to register the decree passed in a probate petition in O.P.No.966/2015 dated 17.03.2016.

2. It is claimed by the learned counsel for the writ petitioner that the second respondent had received the said document in O.P.No.966 of 2015 and had not passed any order either registering the same or refusing to rejecting the same. In this connection, a representation was also given on 23.04.2021.

3. It is only appropriate that the second respondent passes a considered order, after giving notice to the petitioner herein. The second respondent has to either register the decree in O.P.No.966 of 2015, dated 17.03.2016 or give reasons for refusing to register the same.

4. Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents stated that compliance would be done within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

5. This Court directs the second respondent to pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
